Although originally hired to design a new Educational Facility to be located behind the existing Church, I felt there could be a better solution. Other possibilities were explored and another direction was suggested. Instead a new Sanctuary was proposed, to be located near the street where it takes on more visual prominence and solves several problems at once. This allowed the existing Sanctuary, which was undersized, to be converted into Educational and Fellowship Space. The new Sanctuary draws on cues from the existing 60?s style facilities and lends an uplifting flair.
