Riverbridge Mixed-Use Village
The small Town of Berlin, MA sits at the crossroads of two major interstate highways. The southern edge of Town was ripe for development, but the existing zoning prescribed individual buildings on individual lots ? not the type of look befitting of a small New England Town. With the cooperation of a very forward looking Planning Board, we developed a Design and Master Plan for a compact mixed-use New England Village. By concentrating development on a small part of the 114 acre site, 75 percent the site will remain in its natural state in perpetuity. Although two previous rezoning attempts at this site by others had failed, ours was ultimately successful.
